Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in software engineering, application development, data engineering, quantitative engineering, or a related technical field.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline.
- Experience designing, developing, testing, deploying, and supporting enterprise software applications.
- Experience developing backend services using Java and Spring-based
- 5+ years of experience developing enterprise applications, financial technology solutions, or cloud-based platforms.
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Financial Engineering, Data Science, or a related quantitative discipline.
- Experience developing modern full-stack applications using Angular or similar front-end frameworks.
- Experience supporting financial research, investment, asset management, quantitative analytics, or data science platforms.
- Experience building and maintaining cloud-based data engineering solutions, data pipelines, and large-scale data platforms.
- Experience with Python, R, or MATLAB for analytics, visualization, automation, or research-related development.
- Experience developing dashboard and reporting solutions using Plotly Dash or similar visualization
Responsibilities
- As a Software Engineer, you will contribute to the development and modernization of technology solutions that support investment research, quantitative analysis, and asset management capabilities across Schwab.
