Qualifications

  • are understood and that projects are completed in a timely and effective manner
  • Thoroughly document software design, execution, and end-user instructions
  • This position will report to the IT Software Engineering manager and is expected to be able to operate under light supervision and make independent decisions and judgments.
  • Required
  • BS in Software Development or equivalent work experience.
  • 6+ year developing software.
  • Direct experience programming with C# .
  • NET, SQL, XML, JSON.
  • Experience developing Manufacturing Execution Systems.
  • Experience with integration of ERP, SPC and Data Collection systems.
  • Communication
  • Familiarity with developing, deploying, or supporting Azure applications and services.

Responsibilities

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for addressing day-to-day internal customer issues, as well as creating and managing software applications, to support nLI***'s engineering and manufacturing teams.
  • Support nLI***’s manufacturing groups’ use of existing applications
  • Create and maintain software applications and services that are used to control and record the manufacture of high-power lasers.
  • Create applications using C#.
  • NET, MVC, and SQL to automate the of handling of manufacturing data and associated engineering data
  • Follow software design standards including abstraction, design patterns, and change control
  • Establish effective communication with other departments to ensure that
