Job summary

What to Expect Consider before submitting an application: This position is expected to start August or September 2026 and continue through fall term (ending approximately December 2026 or later, if available). We ask for a minimum of 12 weeks, full-time (40 hours/week) and on-site, for most internships. Our internship program is for students who are actively enrolled in an academic program.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Strong working knowledge of modern JavaScript frameworks (React.js, Typescript)

Responsibilities

  • You will work on one of the highest visibility software systems on the Energy Team.
  • While this role does not require you to come in as an expert on battery and energy systems, you will work on Megapacks and Superchargers.
  • As a Full-Stack Software Engineer Intern in Energy Engineering, you will be responsible for specifying, building, and maintaining the next generation of diagnostic tooling for our Industrial Energy Devices.
  • You’ll be part of one of our multidisciplinary product teams, where you will build both back-end and front-end systems, and work closely with Product Managers, Engineers, Operations, and Data Analysts.
