Qualifications

  • Genuine macro or institutional finance fluency.
  • The buyer is a hedge fund PM or a family office CIO.
  • You need to earn their trust in the first meeting, not spend it learning the language.
  • Has personally opened new institutional accounts at a data, research, or fintech business.
  • Not managed a warm book, but built cold pipeline into hedge funds, asset managers, or family offices.
  • Has owned an ARR number in a B2B subscription or data business and hit it.
  • Closed deals with institutional buyers in the $10K to $100K+ ACV range.
  • Has represented a brand independently at senior level: spoken at industry events, led client relationships, or owned a strategic partnership end to end.
  • Operator mindset.
  • Does not wait for a department.
  • Builds what is needed and moves fast in a small, high-velocity team.
  • Based in London or New York, or willing to relocate.
