We are seeking a highly motivated Full Stack Software Engineer with 2–3 years of experience to join our engineering team in Wayne/Philadelphia, PA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications across both front-end and back-end technologies. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product, data science, and business stakeholders, to build innovative software solutions, enhance user experiences, and deliver high-quality applications that support our business objectives and drive value for our clients. Our client base includes destination marketing organizations at the city, state, and national levels; leading industry trade associations; and major corporate owners, operators and brands in the travel sector. We have a longstanding relationship with many of our clients, typically through subscription-based services or recurring studies. Attention to detail is critical and the individual needs to take pride in producing accurate work on a timely basis in collaboration with colleagues. Department Tourism Economics US Employment Type Full Time Location Philadelphia, US Workplace type Hybrid Key Responsibilities Frontend Development Design, build, and maintain responsive, reactive, and scalable web applications using tools such as Svelte, Typescript, HTML, CSS Improve user experience by improving page load/render times and making page designs more intuitive Aggregate data across multiple enterprise APIs for frontend consumption Backend / Full Stack Development Design, build, and maintain secure backend logic using tools such as SvelteKit, C#/.NET, Supabase, and Auth0 Database design and optimization using PostgreSQL and SQL Build cloud infrastructure to support distributed applications and services in a cost-effective manner General Software Development Troubleshoot and remediate production issues in a timely manner using logs and debugging tools Partner with leadership, data engineering, and product teams to support new product development, feature rollouts, and enhancements Skills, Knowledge & Expertise Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field 2-3 years of hands-on experience in full stack web development or a closely related field Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to manage multiple priorities in a lean team environment Proficiency in a modern frontend JavaScript framework such as Svelte, React, Vue (Svelte preferred but not required) Proficiency in a modern backend JavaScript framework such as SvelteKit, Next, Nuxt (SvelteKit preferred but not required) Experience with cloud platforms for data storage, orchestration, and compute Preferred Qualifications Experience with TypeScript Experience with AWS services and IaC such as ECR, EC2, Lambda, S3, SQS, Terraform, etc. Experience with authentication and SSO systems (JWT, Auth0, EntraID, etc.) Exposure to data visualization platforms such as Tableau, Sigma, Omni, etc. Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Oxf*** is an equal opportunity employer.
