FULL STACK JAVA DEVELOPER Tur*** is seeking an experienced Full Stack Java Developer / Software Engineer with AWS Cloud Services experience. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain Java-based microservices applications in an AWS cloud environment while providing daily guidance and support to engineering staff.

Qualifications

  • Tur*** is seeking an experienced Full Stack Java Developer / Software Engineer with AWS Cloud Services experience.

  • Responsible for effectively tracking, logging, categorizing, and maintaining changes made against the accepted baseline(s) standards.
  • Resolve complex problems using deep technical knowledge and experience.
  • Provide support to tier 2 application issues as needed.
  • Participate in and review project plans and schedules.
  • Report, track, and open issues and action items in Jira.
  • Provide status and statistical reporting for weekly updates and monthly deep-dive meetings.

  • Must have lived in the United States at least three (3) out of the last five (5) years.
  • Must be able to go through the US Federal Public Trust Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

  • In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain Java-based microservices applications in an AWS cloud environment while providing daily guidance and support to engineering staff.
  • You will manage technical operations including builds, software installations, upgrades, patching, security, scalability, troubleshooting, and system responsiveness.
  • Additionally, you will play a pivotal role in problem resolution, leveraging your extensive AWS knowledge to address complex technical issues.
  • Design, develop, and deploy Java-based software and web applications.
  • Develop front-end web applications, ensuring Section 508 compliance.
  • Ensure that user interactions on web pages are intuitive and engaging.
  • Develop and maintain IaC (Infrastructure as Code) using Terraform
  • Ensure the code is regularly pushed to the version control system.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and actively contribute to Agile practices, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Control, plan, and direct all aspects of the change management process.
  • Provide daily support and direction to staff regarding change status
