Engineering Team Lead

Job summary

Title: Engineering Team Lead Job Location: 465 Main St, Buffalo, NY 14203. Position requires in-office work four (4) days every week. Job Description: Plan, initiate, and manage information technology (IT) projects, providing high-level software development solutions and identify new technologies for implementation.

Qualifications

• Requires five (5) years of experience in each of the following:
• Java Development for both Frontend and Backend Applications, including gathering customer
• with stakeholders and end users, creating high-level architecture and designs, developing prototypes and features, conducting unit testing, and providing maintenance support;
• API Services (including microservices) and Web Application Development using Java and supporting frameworks including SpringBoot, Spring, REST API, and SOAP;
• Building and designing databases and data warehouses using Oracle or similar relational databases including MS SQL Server or MySQL; and
• Batch processing using Java for data movement and transformation.
• Requires two (2) years of experience in each of the following:
• Leading and guiding the work of technical staff;
• Running and administering applications;
• Developing and maintaining integration applications in Enterprise Service Bus

Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with client partners and business teams to evaluate, plan, and architect business initiatives using approved software
