Job summary

Ora*** Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is seeking exceptional IC6 Software Engineers to help shape the future of Storage. As AI and agentic workloads fundamentally change how applications are built, deployed, and operated, the underlying storage platform must evolve to meet new demands for scale, performance, reliability, and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience designing and building large-scale distributed systems.
• Strong infrastructure engineering background with experience working close to the underlying technology stack.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems concepts, scalability, fault tolerance, and performance optimization.
• Experience building highly available, fault-tolerant services operating at cloud scale.
• Proficiency in Java, C++, Go, Rust, or similar systems programming languages.
• Experience working in public cloud environments such as OCI, AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of caching strategies, throttling, recovery mechanisms, and storage performance optimization

Responsibilities

• Working alongside some of OCI's most experienced distributed systems engineers, you'll design and build foundational services that support Ora***'s global cloud platform.
