• To be successful in this role you will need to have the following experience:
• Working with, manipulating, and analysing data from databases using a coding language (for example SQL, R, Python), ensuring code is shared and processing is reproducible
• Creating or developing a statistical product which successfully meets user needs
• Communicating statistical outputs and adapting communication style to suit the needs of different stakeholders and users

Responsibilities

• will include, but aren’t limited to:
• Producing timely Official Statistics outputs for electric vehicle charging infrastructure publications and the associated government grants.
• Engaging with stakeholders to ensure these outputs remain relevant and targeted in an environment with developing interests.
• Disseminating, explaining and communicating analysis, outlining findings clearly alongside the limitations of the data, to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Working proactively with colleagues in analysis, policy, press office, private office and with stakeholders to define their statistical needs and delivering an analytical work programme which balances these needs.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with our industry supplier to ensure that data provision meets evolving stakeholder needs.
• Contribute to the migration of data storage and processing to Google Cloud Platform
