Responsibilities

  • If you take ownership, think for yourself, and like solving hard problems alongside people who do the same, you'll fit right in.
  • You'll set the vision for how Scale measures and grows its brands: how we quantify marketing incrementality, forecast the business, model unit economics, and predict customer value.
  • You'll lead our analytics organization, including direct management of our Manager, Data Analytics, and you'll define and oversee the data engineering roadmap that our analytics depend on.
  • Above all, you'll be obsessed with data accuracy and consistency — the foundation everything else is built on.
  • Strategic Planning:
  • Develop and own Scale's companywide analytics strategy, aligned with overall business goals.
  • Partner with executive leadership and cross-functional departments to understand their data needs and ensure analytics solutions support their objectives.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage data, AI, and predictive analytics to improve business performance and decision-making.
  • Marketing Analytics & Measurement:
  • Own Scale's marketing measurement framework, including experimentation design (lift/geo testing), incrementality, MMM, and MTA, and the statistical methodologies that underpin them.
  • Build and maintain retention analytics and LTV models, including churn and contribution-margin prediction.
  • Manage the marketing data pipeline end to end, ensuring channel data is complete, accurate, and analysis-ready.
