Overview: LMI*** is seeking a Database DevOps Engineer to be part of a team that is designing and developing complex, cloud-based systems. This position requires an Active Secret Clearance. LMI*** is a new breed of digital solutions provider dedicated to accelerating government impact with innovation and speed.

Qualifications

• Required
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 3-10 years of experience in database administration, with a focus on cloud environments
• Active Secret Clearance
• Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB)
• Experience with database performance tuning and optimization
• Familiarity with database security best practices and compliance standards
• Experience with automation
• Certifications such as AWS Certified Database - Specialty, Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate, or Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer
• Experience with database migration and replication
