Job description

Key Responsibilities Manage and administer Teradata database environments across development, test, and production. Perform database installation, configuration, upgrades, and patching. Execute backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures. Monitor and optimize database performance and query efficiency. Implement database security, access controls, and compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA). Provide L2/L3 production support and incident resolution. Collaborate with data engineers, ETL developers, and business teams. Support data integration, migration, and modernization initiatives. Required Qualifications 3–6 years of experience as a Database Administrator with strong Teradata experience. Hands-on experience with enterprise data warehouse environments. Strong SQL and query performance tuning skills. Experience with Teradata utilities (BTEQ, FastLoad, MultiLoad, TPT). Familiarity with Unix/Linux environments. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP). Exposure to data modernization programs. Experience with ETL tools such as Informatica or DataStage. Healthcare industry experience. Key Success Metrics High system availability and SLA adherence. NTT*** provides a reasonable range of compensation for U.S.-based positions. The starting pay range for this role is [$95.11/hr on W2]. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate’s relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications.
