Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience as a Database Administrator with strong Teradata experience
- 6+ years of experience with enterprise data warehouse environments
- 6+ years of experience with SQL and query performance tuning
- Familiarity with Unix/Linux environments
- Strong analytical and problem-solving

Responsibilities
- We are seeking an Intermediate-Level Teradata DBA that will be responsible for ensuring the availability, performance, security, and optimization of Teradata environments supporting critical healthcare data workloads.
- Manage and administer Teradata database environments across development, test, and production
- Perform database installation, configuration, upgrades, and patching
- Execute backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures
- Monitor and optimize database performance and query efficiency
- Implement database security, access controls, and compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA)
- Provide L2/L3 production support and incident resolution
- Collaborate with data engineers, ETL developers, and business teams
- Support data integration, migration, and modernization initiatives
