Description The Defense Group at Lei*** currently has an opening for a Data Scientist to work with our customer at Eglin AFB, FL. This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience helping the Joint Staff J6 Joint Assessment Division (JAD) conduct system of systems interoperability assessments as well as Joint All Domain Command and Control (JADC2) data centricity assessments.

Qualifications
- Requires a working knowledge of relational databases, data scripting languages (e.g., Python, R), data visualization techniques, and cloud-based computing environments.
- Required
- Bachelor’s degree with 1+ years of experience or a Master’s degree.
- Additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- US Citizen with and active Secret clearance and also the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance.
- Familiarity with preliminary data processes (EDA, data cleaning, data wrangling, database framework, normalization).
- Experience handling large complex datasets from multiple sources.
- Strong background with relevant programming languages (SQL, Python, R).
- Ability to obtain a CompTIA Security + certification.
- Capability to lift 50 lbs.
