Qualifications
- Requires BS and 8+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6 - 10 years of prior relevant experience, additional years of experience will be accepted in lieu of a degree
- Understanding of Data Security and access controls in accordance with the DoD and Air Force Data Strategy policies and procedures
- Has designed and maintained data architecture, models, schemas and data warehouses
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI, with experience creating executive-level operational reports and briefings
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational
- Current/active DoD Secret Clearance
- Advanced technical expertise with demonstrated architectural decision making and project leadership
- 5 to 7+ years of progressive experience in data engineering, analytics engineering or data platform development
- Deep production level expertise with cloud data platforms and warehouses like snowflake, AWS, Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Microsoft Azure
- Relevant cloud platform and data ecosystem certifications

Responsibilities
- Analyze existing data infrastructure, landscape, and security posture to create a data strategy roadmap
- Build an action plan in a Microsoft tool that is executable by the US Space Force
- Build and maintain an action plan for data collection, storage, and analysis
- Ensure cross-functional collaboration by partnering with the Data Strategist to support data infrastructure and mission needs
