Qualifications
- Amazon's Worldwide Grocery Stores-Grocery Tech Foundation team is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to lead medium to large cross-functional strategic initiatives that support WWGS strategic goals.
- design and implement scalable data model, ETL processes and reporting to address business needs.
- Design and build next-generation data infrastructure to replace existing third-party solutions.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Data Engineers, Software Developers, Business Intelligence Engineers, Analysts, Product Managers, and Program Managers.
- Transform complex datasets into automated, digestible analytic deliverables.
- Demonstrate strong organizational
- Knowledge of distributed systems as it pertains to data storage and computing
- 5+ years of data engineering experience
- 3+ years of data warehouse technical architectures, data modeling, infrastructure components, ETL/ ELT and reporting/analytic
- Experience with non-relational databases / data stores (object storage, document or key-value stores, graph databases, column-family databases)
- Experience in Database like NoSQL, or experience in any Bigdata architecture and experience that includes strong analytical
