Job summary

Position Summary: Penske Transportation Solutions is seeking a dynamic Technical Recruiter to join our corporate staffing team. In this role, you’ll own the full lifecycle recruitment process for a broad range of technical and business-critical roles, including software development, data engineering, enterprise architecture, systems support and business operations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or at least 2 years of equivalent work experience required.
  • define candidate profiles, and create targeted recruitment strategies for hard-to-fill positions.
  • Utilize a variety of sourcing channels—social media, professional networks, job boards, referrals, and direct outreach—to identify and engage top-tier active and passive candidates.
  • Deliver a best-in-class candidate experience, ensuring clear communication, timely follow-up, and a seamless process from start to finish.
  • Conduct intake meetings to align on role objectives, define success criteria, and set realistic timelines and expectations.
  • Represent Penske at recruiting events, including job fairs, university partnerships, and networking events.
  • Maintain compliance with all federal and state employment regulations, as well as internal hiring policies.
  • Build and sustain strategic talent pipelines and relationships with staffing vendors or search firms for specialized hiring needs.
  • Track and report recruitment metrics through applicant tracking systems and other HR
  • 3–5 years of recruiting experience in a corporate or agency environment, with a strong focus on technical or analytical roles.
  • Experience recruiting for specialized IT roles such as software engineers, architects, data engineers, systems support, architecture, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process from requisition to onboarding for technical and strategic roles, including sourcing, resume screening, interviewing, offer negotiation, and onboarding.
  • Partner closely with hiring managers and leadership to understand role
  • of this job, the associate may be required to stand, walk, and sit.
  • The associate is frequently required to use hands to touch, handle, and feel, and to reach with hands and arms.
  • The associate must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25lbs/12kg.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
