• In this role you will:
• Design, build, and support remote sensor data collection pipelines from space-based RF communication links for geospatial analysis
• Implement best practices for storing, searching, and analyzing terabytes of IQ data streams from multiple ground sites around the world
• Implement life-cycle management strategies for large RF domain data sets
• Apply knowledge of geospatial analysis techniques to identify patterns and issues for RF links in space
• Apply AI/ML techniques for detecting RF and PHY performance anomalies from satellites on orbit
• Work with communication systems engineers to automate scientific instruments to validate RF communication links in a lab environment
• Integrate real-world data such as weather forecasts and terrain into link budget prediction models
• Support DTD integration efforts through test automation, link budget analysis, and troubleshooting HW/SW interfaces

Responsibilities

• As a systems development engineer, you will work on a variety of projects and multifunctional groups deeply involved in link budget analysis, signal processing, and RF testing and validation.
• You will also be involved in system-level integration of ground-based and user terminal subsystems that enable next-generation Amazon Leo satellite communication services.
