Responsibilities

  • With headquarters in New Zealand and teams across Australia, Europe and the United States, you'll work alongside talented engineers solving technical challenges that have a genuine impact on customers around the world.
  • You'll own and evolve the cloud platform powering one of the world's most advanced virtual fencing systems.
  • Working across AWS infrastructure, IoT devices, CI/CD pipelines and production operations, you'll solve real-world reliability challenges that directly impact farmers across multiple continents.
  • As our Software Engineer (CloudOps), you'll become the primary CloudOps engineer supporting our US business hours, taking ownership of live production systems while working closely with our engineering team in Australia.
  • You'll balance day-to-day operational excellence with longer-term platform improvements - helping us build infrastructure that's more reliable, scalable, and easier to operate.
  • This is a hands-on engineering role where you'll respond to production incidents, automate repetitive work, improve observability, and contribute to the ongoing evolution of our cloud platform.
  • You'll work across CloudOps, infrastructure, automation, and IoT connectivity, with the opportunity to influence technical decisions and see the direct impact of your work.
