Job Summary This role sits within the Inquiries and Major Casework team, part of the Appeals Service. The team manages high profile planning appeals and inquiries that often attract significant public, media, and ministerial interest. Our work supports communities, local authorities, and inspectors by ensuring complex cases are handled accurately, fairly, and within required timescales.

Responsibilities
- As a Casework Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring the inquiry process runs smoothly from start to finish.
- You will work with a wide range of stakeholders and make a direct contribution to decisions that shape communities and the built and natural environment.
- You will manage a varied caseload of inquiry appeals, coordinating documentation, timetables, and virtual case management events.
