Job summary
The Exploration Company is seeking an experienced Automation/Electrical Engineer to join their HiL/EGSE Engineering Team in Munich, focusing on designing and integrating Hardware-in-the-Loop platforms for avionics and electrical subsystems.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of electrical system design and circuit protection
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations (IEC/EN standards, CE marking)
- Experience with electrical CAD tools (EPLAN, Zuken, or equivalent)
- Knowledge of electronic circuit design (analog and digital) is a plus
- Experience in aerospace, automotive, or industrial automation is desirable
- Familiarity with HiL testing and test bench architecture is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a pragmatic design mindset
- Fluent in English; German is a plus
Responsibilities
- Lead the design of electrical schematics for power and signal circuits
- Define and implement safety devices and power management solutions
- Oversee the electrical design of the HiL test laboratory
- Develop electrical setups for component and subsystem testing
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the development lifecycle
- Participate in technical reviews and support documentation efforts
