Job summary

We are seeking an Advanced Software Engineer - Hybrid Quantum-HPC Orchestration in our Broomfield, CO location to design and develop a hybrid workflow orchestrator between Qua*** quantum processors and classical supercomputing resources in the United States. Qua*** is bridging the gap between classical high-performance computing (HPC) and next-generation Quantum Processing Units (QPUs).

Qualifications

  • WE VALUE:
  • Masters/PhD degree in Computer Science
  • History of developing compiled python extensions
  • Understanding of common HPC software such as Slurm or PBS
  • Experience collaborating with external scientific and technical partners

Responsibilities

  • Write high quality, maintainable code in an R&D and rapid prototyping environment
  • Build and maintain scalable orchestration software to manage hybrid quantum-classical workflows.
  • Develop robust interfaces between HPC job schedulers (e.g., Slurm) and quantum runtimes, optimizing data movement and job scheduling.
  • Work with QPU hardware control systems and SDKs to integrate quantum execution into production pipelines.
  • Ensure high availability, monitoring, and debugging of distributed hybrid systems.
  • YOU MUST HAVE:
  • Bachelors Degree minimum
  • 5+ years of professional software development experience
  • 5+ years of experience in Python, Rust and/or C++
