Job summary
Job Title: Adjunct Teacher - Information Systems - IS 543: Mobile Platform Development Posting End Date: July 15, 2026 *NOTE: Last day to apply is Tuesday, July 14, 2026, at 11:59pm (MT) Position Start Date: September 1, 2026 Required Degree: Master's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field. The required degree must be completed by the start date.
Qualifications
- Required Degree:
- Master's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
- The required degree must be completed by the start date.
- Experience:
- Prior teaching or training experience at the university or professional level
- Professional experience as a Software Engineer
- Knowledge of the Swift programming language, iOS app development, and SwiftUI and SwiftData libraries
- All new employees who are members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will be required to hold and be worthy to hold a current temple recommend.
- All employees are required to abide by the university's Honor Code and Dress & Grooming Standards.
- Preference is given to qualified candidates who are members in good standing of the affiliated church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Responsibilities
- Expectations:
- Teach IS 543: Mobile Platform Development
- Course content and teaching materials are created by the faculty for adjuncts to use (teaching assistants will be hired to assist in the course)
- Development of robust, production-quality iOS applications through hands-on projects
- Coach students on professional presentations, proposals, and client meetings
- Passion and support for the Information Systems degree
- Ability to engage with students in person
- Taught Tuesdays and Thursdays 8:00am - 9:15am
