Job summary

- We are looking for an individual who has knowledge, experience, and motivation for engaging people who require mental health inpatient care.

Responsibilities
- You will contribute to the delivery of an evidenced based service by working with the Multidisciplinary Team, other service providers, service users, carers and families, to provide an effective client centred service.
- You will provide formalised support and practical assistance to service users in order for them to regain control over their lives and their own unique recovery process.
- You will liaise closely with registered staff on service user issues and will receive clinical supervision from the ward based occupational therapist.
- You will have the opportunity to work as a member of the multi-disciplinary team which includes nursing, occupational therapy, other engagement staff, psychology and medics.
- You will be expected to be flexible within your working approach and delivery, in response to service user needs.
